With its home in Taiwan, Anissa is a dermatological brand recognized for skincare advances that treats and rejuvenates the skin matrix. The skincare line stemmed from a high quality cosmetics brand, Anissa Da Vinci, which was well-received in Taiwan.
The skincare line was launched in 2016, and right from the start, the products have always been dedicated to providing customers with the highest safety standards and are free from plasticizers, fragrance fixatives, lead, parabens, petrochemical surfactants, mineral oils/animal fat, and irritating surfactants.
This ensures that women can continue use them in their routines through pregnancy and nursing.
Anissa has tailored their line to work with a multitude of skin types and concerns. They now boast a Moisturizing range, an Acne Oil-Control range, a Whitening/Pore Tightening range, a Skin repair range, and an Anti-Aging/Firming range.

Star Ingredients
On top of championing high safety standards, Anissa utilizes unique and potent ingredients in their skincare line, like Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) and Bee Venom.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) is a synthetic peptide made from a protein found in Botox. Primarily used in anti-wrinkle and anti-aging creams or serums, it has been designed to reduce wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, and on the forehead and cheeks among other areas. The difference between Argireline and Botox is that while the latter needs to be injected into the targeted area, the former works through application. When applied, the active ingredient enters the skin membranes which then limits muscle activity and wrinkling. Similar to Botox, this tightens the skin and reduces wrinkles caused by smiling, squinting, and other tight movements. Over time, this prevents the skin from forming new wrinkles while giving it time to repair and smooth over any previous wrinkles as well.

Bee venom
Bee venom, on the other hand, is a well-known skin enhancer with a potent combination of peptides and amino acids that works on all levels of the skin to encourage naturally occurring cell regeneration, boost collagen formation, accelerate the recovery of damaged skin cells and act as a natural alternative to harsh antibiotic therapy for acne.
A natural alternative to Botox, bee venom stimulates facial muscles for a natural anti-aging effect by smoothing and firming out fine lines and wrinkles. The ingredient works by stimulating the skin to think that it’s been lightly stung — minus the pain. The protein increases blood circulation, which therefore means that the inner layers of the skin heighten production of elastin and collagen. The venom also helps reduce sun damage, dark spots, blemishes and tightens the skin naturally.
